With spring on it’s way, it's inevitable that many of us are going to start picturing the nice hot days in summer by the river side or down by the local creek, but is your body "river ready"?
Of course, it's not all about how we look at the local beach or at the beach, but if you can find a way that will help to make you feel fit and healthy, then your "river readiness" will start to take care of itself. With that in mind, have you considered the benefits of eating Sushi?
Most people tend to forget the health benefits of eating Sushi, and just know it for its wonderful taste. But it's one of the few "fast foods" that you can have at lunchtime that will still let you get in the shopping that you need to do, and you won't physically feel like you're gaining weight after it while you're sitting at your desk during the afternoon. Sushi isn't just a lunchtime treat for the stressed out office worker or health conscious mum on the run.
People are constantly invited out to functions, and asked to bring a plate (note to self - just taking an empty plate is frowned upon!), but have you noticed that you get a whole table full of the same unappetising food? Again, Sushi comes to the rescue. Few people are going to think about bringing a Sushi platter to a function, and you can bet that it's going to be the first plate to be emptied. It's a good healthy plate of food for the others to try – and it does no harm when it comes time to think about who is top of the list to invite to the next function.
If that weren't enough, you have a selection of platter sizes to choose from (meaning you can have a Sushi platter for every sized occasion) and you have the option of picking up or having it delivered – and having it delivered is a great option to have when you're still in the process of getting ready for the function.
Now, one thing that you, as a health conscious person in an age where eating healthily is still more difficult than many people realise, will be asking is are these products bought in, or do we make them ourselves? The answer to that is that Border Catering is proud to be able to offer you products that were created in our purpose built kitchen at 32 High Street, Wodonga. The freshness of the product is just as important to us as it is to you, so the move was made to the new commercial kitchen in June of 2011.
The kitchen is run by six wonderful staff who have a passion for producing the best Sushi possible for our customers. We are not a franchise; Border Catering is operated by Bar Sushi, who is a company that started in March 2009 as a dream to give the health conscious people of Albury & Wodonga a place where they could get a good nutritious meal, and still be back to the office in time to get back to the daily grind. From those beginnings we have moved into four locations – City Walk Arcade (519 - 525 Dean Street, Albury), Whitebox Rise Plaza in Wodonga, Centro Wodonga (Elgin Blvd, Wodonga) and 468 Dean Street (Albury) – and we have expanded the range of menu on offer.
So, if you want a nice and healthy platter of top quality food, from a business that has won the 2010 Combined Chamber Awards for "Best New Business" and "People's Choice Award", then you know where to come; just like spring, it's time for a new beginning... and a whole new healthy and enjoyable way of eating that could just see you ready for the upcoming summer.
